This support yoke needed to be rigid, but not brittle--even in cold temperatures. It needed to withstand significant impact without excessive marring or distortion. A 75D hardness system was used with excellent results. An efficient open casting process delivered this part very economically. |

The polyurethane for this drive and guide roller required high friction coupled with excellent toughness, and yet needed to be soft. A custom formulated 75A hardness system is the result. |

This is the central hub for a heavy duty industrial tripod stand. It could have been made of metal, but, over time, corrosion might have affected the smooth movement of the legs. The polyurethane material selected remains unchanged after long term exposure to all use conditions. |

Polyurethane can be used as a torsion spring. This part is bolted to a surface, and a hexagonal shaft fits through the central hole. Rotational deflection of the shaft is predictably controlled by the polyurethane properties. |

If the volumes were high we would mold this manual actuator by the injection process and significantly reduce the unit cost. But at low volumes cast polyurethane is the best alternative because of its durability, appearance, and low tooling costs. |

From skate wheels to 6 foot diameter drive wheels, polyurethanes perform. We have a new proprietary series of formulations for industrial wheels based on unique chemistry which provide excellent properties at low cost. |

Blocks and slabs of urethane can be used as impact pads for die presses, cutting backstops for steel rule dies, and any number of other applications where flexibility and durability are important. |
